Who are we?
Corazon Productions was founded by Michael Harrison and his son, Jonathan Harrison. The Harrisons have spent the past decade working together to independently develop and produce films and documentaries. Recently, the father and son team produced “The Lanza Sessions” for Rhombus Media. Following “Waiting For My Real Life’, the Harrisons were involved in the production of the TV special "Venus on Fire, Mars on Ice," featuring Dr. John Gray.
For more than 30 years Michael Harrison has written, produced and presented documentaries on television and radio. He has specialized in productions on the lives and careers of famous singers, musicians and composers including Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Dame Joan Sutherland, Gian Carlo Menotti and Vladimir Ashkenazy. His cutting edge documentary “Harmony of Contrasts” examined the politics and tensions at Opera Australia during a time of crisis in the company’s history.
Jonathan Harrison started in the arts as a playwright and theatre director. He has had numerous plays produced in professional theatre companies and at the prestigious Adelaide Festival in Australia. He won a scholarship for excellence in screenwriting twenty years ago.
